  • You may check in at any time you wish; your rooms will be available at 2.00pm
  • Departing guest must check out no later than 10.30 am

Cancellation policy

To cancel, please notify us 48 hours prior to the calendar date arrival. Please note that failure to notify us of your cancellation within the specified time period will result in the charging of the first nights booking for a no show.

Lawn AreaThe Heart of Tuscany Hostel is a self-contained olive and wine producing villa, with cottages of varying sizes surrounding the main villa.

Each of our uniquely designed rustic houses have kitchens, bathrooms and classic Tuscan furniture, providing a variety of accommodation types ranging from dorms to doubles, triples, quads, or even the entire cottage.

Located in the hills of Montalbano, Heart of Tuscany Hostel boasts breathtaking views of the valley below, within short distance from the great cities of Florence, Livorno, Pisa, Montecatini, Pistoia and Vinci, home town of the great Leonardo da Vinci 7km down the road. A mere 5 kmaway, the town of Montecatini offers a wealth of options such as trekking, bicycle hire, walking or horse-back riding.

We provide a free shuttle bus to the Hostel from Empoli train station for guests who stay 3 days or more. Van excursions of the surrounding areas are also available. For those who are traveling by car, secure on site parking is available as well.
